Hello, I’m Caitlin.
My passion for photography began in the forest during a trip to Hocking Hills, Ohio, when I was twelve years old.
I was awestruck by rays of sunlight piercing the tree canopy and illuminating the rock formations below. Using my mom’s camera, I captured the moment and was thrilled with the result.
Later that year, I entered my photo in the local county fair’s photography competition and was surprised to win a blue "Best of Show" ribbon.
It wasn’t until after college that I purchased my own camera and began to further develop the passion that had sparked a decade earlier.
Observing and preserving the ordinary yet beautiful moments of life is my creative outlet—it connects me to my environment and helps me focus on the present.
In 2021, I launched Property Portraits, a photography service dedicated to capturing the essence of homes and spaces. Click here to learn more!
